Contract 1 is for replacement of one (1) #10 and one (1) #8 turnout and raising of about 1000' of industrial spur track.

Contract 2 is for grading and paving of the 110,000 sq. ft. transload area.

May 13, 2015 - Bid packages advertised in 3 local newspapers.

May 29, 2015 - Bids opened.  Five (5) bids received for track work and two (2) bids received for paving.  All bids were rejected because the bid price was significantly over available budget and and an insufficient number of bidders responded to the paving work.

July 08, 2015 - New bid packages advertised.  Track work reduced in scope to raising of one (1) industrial spur.  Paving reduced in scope by reducing area to be paved, using more asphalt vice concrete, and reducing the volume of fill.

July 24, 2015 - Bid opening. Five (5) bids received.  Three (3) for paving, two (2) for trackwork.  LRWY will be recommending that PennDOT accept the bids from Railworks and M.R. Dirt.
